Next Stop Memory LANE

Being a mom is hard and raising a child with special needs is extra hard. I consider myself a super special mom that’s raising a child with super special powers.
Every day, I manage situations that most moms would think are impossible. I’ve made painful decisions that hurt my heart, changed ostomy’s bags, cleaned surgery wounds; attend 3 or more monthly doctors appointment regularly, and weekly hour long therapy sessions.
Every day is an adventure and we save the day by getting through the day. With all the challenges we face being a super mom is so rewarding.  It’s never a dull moment in our house. Celebrating and enjoying our life with Zion

 

 

Zion my beautiful angel, I pray for you every day. I couldn't picture my world without you in it. You brought so much joy into my life and I'm so proud to be your mom. Our journey has made me such a better person, you're everything more than what I imagined you would be. You brighten my day each and every day and it's a blessing to be your mommy. You give me life and it wouldn't be fair if I didn't share our journey with others that are maybe going through the same journey and path we are!! 8/20/2013 I wasn't here mentally, I couldn't understand why God would trust me with such a precious gift. God knows my heart and strength capacity so He rewarded me with my blessing, you… Zion!  And our testimony will help show others the way here
